- House Public Works plans and records
- Identify needed capital projects
- Review projects for the Planning Board
- Design projects
- Inspect projects for compliance with city standards
- Generate blueprints
- Maintain water distribution and collection analysis
- Develop roadway improvement plan
- Issue excavation and driveway permits
- Track pavement striping
- Conduct septic system review
- Provide cost estimates for city projects
