| Mission Statement To provide accurate and efficient maintenance and repair of the Engineering, Water, Sewer, Cemetery, Recreation, Facilities and Grounds, and Public Safety vehicles, including Police & Fire.
Goals for the Department
- Provide for annual State inspections on vehicles
- Preventive maintenance and repair of heavy equipment during snow, ice and other emergencies
- Maintain an inventory of parts and fluids for normal and emergency repairs to vehicles
- Provide for scheduled and non-scheduled repairs to City vehicles – including body repairs, paint and reconditioning
- Implement and maintain a vehicle replacement plan
