Welcome to the Dover Business & Industrial Development Authority Web Page.

The Dover Business & Industrial Development Authority (D.B.I.D.A.) is a 503(c)3 non-profit corporation that manages economic development for the City of Dover and is funded by it.

DBIDA works to retain, expand, and assist Dover businesses of all sizes, and works to identify and attract relocation candidate businesses and new businesses to Dover locations.

In addition to the many attractive benefits and advantages in the areas of taxation, regulation, labor costs and qualifications, energy costs, proximity to major NE cities, proximity to I-95, AMTRAC service to Boston and Portland, multi-modal freight transport, and a full spectrum of commercial properties for sale or lease, we enjoy extraordinary quality of life.

Dover has top rated public and private schools, proximity to the University of New Hampshire and Dartmouth campuses. This community offers the choice of rural, suburban, and urban lifestyles second to none with access to waterfront, mountains and breathtaking natural beauty in every season that provides the opportunity for every type of outdoor recreation and sports activities including boating, hunting, fishing, skiing, swimming, hiking, nature hikes, bicycling and bird watching.
