Dover Community Senior Center

Dancing with the Dover Stars returns! The 3rd annual Dancing with the Dover Stars will be held on Saturday, May 18th at 6pm at the DHS Auditorium. Tickets are $10 in advance ($15 at the door) and are currently available for sale at the Dover Community Senior Center and Recreation front desk at the McConnell Center during normal business hours as well as the Dover Chamber! This year's celebrities include 3 recent Dover Citizens of the Year - Tom Dunnington, Pam Simpson and Kevin McEneaney, Dover Senior Center member Mary Ulinski, STA AD Ryan Brown, Cathy Calandriello of DMS, Justine Roberts of the Children's Museum, Bev Hodsdon of the Dover Chamber, Craig Chabot of Dover Fire and Dana Mitchell of Youth to Youth. They have been rehearsing with their professional partners to provide the audience with the best night of entertainment in Dover! All proceeds benefit the Dover Community Senior Center! Introduction The Dover Community Senior Center is part of Dover Recreation and is located at 61 Locust Street. Park in the Dover Public Library/McConnell Center parking lot and enter Door # 1 of the McConnell Center! The center is for adults 50+ years of age who want to get out and enjoy the company of others their own age. We have an array of activities from exercise programs, including yoga daily games, mystery luncheons, special events, trips, monthly socials, and there is always a pot of coffee brewing. Stop in and have a cup of coffee with your friends or if you are new to the center, come in and introduce yourself and our friendly staff will show you around. The Travel office is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am - 3pm. Senior Center memberships are good for one year from date of purchase. Cost is $15 for residents and $25 for non-residents.
