The Dover Public Library is pleased to announce the 17th Annual Dover Public Library Poetry Contest for grades K-12. Prizes will be awarded in six different categories: Grades K-2, 3 and 4, 5 and 6, 7 and 8, 9 and 10, and 11 and 12. Poems will be judged on originality, style and creativity. Deadline for entry is April 16.

Students may pick up information about the contest at the Dover Public Library, any Dover school library, or at the library’s website http://library.dovernh.gov beginning on March 13.

All participants are invited to attend an “Evening of Poetry” on Monday, May 20 at 6:30 p.m.; refreshments will be served.
